Participatory funding or crowdfunding is a direct, transparent and democratic technological solution that leverages the power of many to fund specific actions of public, private and non-profit organizations that aim to meet needs.
Since 2012, Crowdpolicy has provided business solutions for information systems and crowdsourcing methods in the fields of civictech, govtech and fintech, as well as open innovation services in sectors of the economy and society. Crowdfunding Platform
Τhe Crowdfunding Platform promotes collaborative donation and active support of the citizens and other organizations towards the Municipality. This is achieved through the publication of the offerings data. The platform offers the possibility to monitor the actions realized by the city for the aid and funding of its activities. Additionally, it incorporates good practices already developed in the field of crowdfunding by other organizations aiming to inform the citizens and introduce corresponding experiences.

The Crowdbudget platform is an electronic service aiming to co-shape the budget of a public organization. The latter presents the projects suggested and invites the citizens to state their preference by voting on the projects of their choice.

Deliberation Platform — Crowd Participation
The Crowd Participation platform allows organizing and implementing public deliberations for actions and projects of a City, a Municipality or a Region. It combines evaluation and prioritization and is addressed to Municipality officials and citizens.

The City Dashboard platform is an innovative digital tool for presenting key information such as expenditure, revenues, resource allocations, programs and project progress of a private or public sector organization.

Open Budget Platform
The Open Budget platform is a digital tool for real time presentation of the budget, since it is interlinked with the accounting — information system of a public organization or the local government administration. The main goal of the service is transparency towards the citizens, as it functions as a review tool for the demonstration of revenue and expenditure of the organization that makes use of the service.

Crowdfunding Projects
Act4Greece
The “act4Greece” Program was an innovative initiative of the National Bank of Greece aiming to support projects to strengthen the Greek economy and society with the strategic cooperation of renowned institutions. For the first time in Greece, an electronic platform was created, which made it possible to gather resources from the “crowd” and channel them into specific projects that were undertaken by implementing bodies. The philosophy of act4Greece was raising awareness and encouraging ordinary people, companies or NGOs to contribute, according to their capabilities, to support projects necessary for our country.
The multiple actions of the program were implemented through the website www.act4greece.gr which was designed and implemented by Crowdpolicy that also provided consulting support for the action.
BlueCrowdfunding — Interreg Med project
Crowdpolicy was a partner of the recently completed BlueCrowdfunding — Interreg Med project. Along with 12 other partners, it contributed to the development of actions to enhance innovation in the field of blue economy by integrating the use of Crowdfunding. As a crowdfunding expert project partner, Crowdpolicy actively supported, among other things, the project’s regional educational activities.
