Crowdpolicy continues supporting the operation of the Regional Observatory of Social Inclusion of the South Aegean

The Social Inclusion Observatory of the South Aegean has established itself as a good practice for the information and support of local bodies, such as social policy bodies and civil society.

The Observatory’s Strategic Partner in the field of technological and operational support is the Greek innovation and technology company Crowdpolicy.

Continuing its essential contribution to the Digital Transformation of the wider Public Sector and social innovation, Crowdpolicy undertakes the technical, scientific and management support of the Regional Observatory of Social Inclusion of the South Aegean until 2028.

To highlight the importance of this strategic partnership, below are briefly presented the actions, successes as well as partnerships and good practices that have been carried out from 2020 to date, using Infographics and videos.

Moreover, a short presentation will be made on the next steps, the immediate goals, but also on the perspectives and desired results of the Observatory, as an organization directly intertwined with the exercise of social policy and the promotion of social innovation.

2020–2024: Social Inclusion Observatory actions

  • 4 regional income surveys
  • 3 cycles of field surveys
  • 4 open days
  • 4 thematic workshops on critical areas of social policy
  • 559 individual interviews with beneficiaries
  • 82 focused interviews with executives of Community Centers and executives and elected officials of Municipalities
  • 1082 participants in the dissemination and information actions
  • 12+ good practices

2024–2028: The next four years will be even more dynamic!

The Social Inclusion Observatory of the South Aegean Region continues its operation as a monitoring mechanism for social cohesion and develops innovation in the social sector.

The Observatory aims to analyze socio-economic indicators at regional level, support vulnerable groups of the population and promote interventions for the good of society.

The Observatory introduces new tools and innovative applications for information, funding and networking open to all citizens, social policy bodies and local government organizations.

So for the next 4 years, the Observatory will proceed with:

  • 4 regional surveys of income and living conditions
  • 4 field surveys with the participation of Social services and Community Centers of Municipalities in the South Aegean
  • 4 thematic surveys
  • 6 new digital applications that will be available on the digital portal of the Observatory
  • 4 workshops with the Community Centers
  • 6 conferences with the Regional Observatories of Greece
  • 4 open days and other actions to disseminate the results of the project
  • 6 networking actions with the local community

Crowdpolicy, with 12 years of experience in the implementation of digital solutions and the organization of open innovation actions, stands as a supporter and strategic partner of the South Aegean Region, technologically and operationally supporting the Observatory of Social Inclusion, promoting social innovation and digital transformation.

The immediate goal is the promotion of social innovation actions and the creation of a single ecosystem for the promotion of social policy.
