Open Fintech Day: The third cycle of befinnovative starts soon
On Tuesday, October 16th, 2018, an Open Fintech Day was held at befinnovative to provide information on the latest fintech trends, the third cycle of the program, as well as the fintech crowdhackathon that will be held from 30 November to 2 December.
The Open Fintech Day was attended by young developers, public and private sector executives as well as National Bank of Greece executives.
The main topics of the Open Fintech Day were the following:
- Fintech and entrepreneurship: Technologies and Startups!
- Description of the next cycle of the acceleration program be finnovative #befinnovative 3.0
- Suggestions and thematic areas for Crowdhackathon #fintech 3.0, a bootcamp for the program #befinnovative 3.0, highlighting innovative business models.
Mr. Konstantinos Kalogerakis, Program Manager of be finnovative, Digital Channels Division at the National Bank of Greece, presented the 3rd cycle of the acceleration program be finnovative #befinnovative 3.0.
He pointed out that all the teams to complete the third cycle successfully will receive € 3,000.
Mr. Periklis Thivaios, Founder, True North Partners LLP, delivered a short presentation on Exponential Technologies and Startups.
Mr. George Marinos, Digital Transformation Director at the National Bank of Greece, spoke about the API platform of NBG ((https://developer.nbg.gr/) and its capabilities enabling a proper implementation of ideas to the Fintech sector.
Finally, Mr. George Karamanolis, Co-Founder of CTO / CIO Crowdpolicy, presented the suggestions and thematic areas for Crowdhackathon # fintech 3.0, a bootcamp for the program #befinnovative 3.0, highlighting innovative business models.
