Sustainable cities with the CrowdApps of Crowdpolicy

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a set of goals for future global development that were adopted by the United Nations and they are the global goals for sustainable development. They replaced the Millennium Development Goals, whose achievement schedule expired at the end of 2015. The 17 Global Goals and their 169 targets will be implemented from 2015 to 2030.

As part of the CrowdApps cloud suite, Crowdpolicy has developed the Sustainable Development Platform for Municipalities, Regions and Bodies, built on their initiatives, programs, systems and processes related to the 17 Global Goals.

The platform supports the Municipality or the Region in a systemic way with the adoption of Sustainable Development and the Agenda 2030 locally and regionally and promotes the achievement of results.

The operation of the Crowdpolicy Sustainable Development Platform consists of the following actions:

1. Recording and linking the actions of the Municipality / Region to the 17 Global Goals and Agenda 2030.
2. Developing local dialogues and deliberations to record challenges and prioritize the implementation of the Global Goals at local level. Specialized tools are provided from the CrowdApps suite, such as post-it, the Deliberation Platform and the Participatory Budget. Raising awareness and engaging the local community.
3. Supporting the development of local Sustainable Development strategies and commitments and linking them to the Local/Regional Action Plan.
4. Completing and mapping of non-financial data through the platform processes.
5. Real-time presentation of goals and their achievement through Online Dashboards and systemic extraction of the Sustainable Development Report, which includes the local strategy for adopting the Global Goals, targeting and achievements of the Municipality to improve the quality of life of its citizens.
