The Visa Innovation Program SEE is a fintech pilot-centered collaboration platform spanning across Southeast Europe. The Program is designed to help fintechs scale, supercharge their value proposition and engage with some of the leading financial institutions in Bulgaria, Greece and Turkey.

The first Selection Day of the Visa Innovation Program SEE took place for the Bulgarian and Greek Hubs, run by Eleven Ventures and Crowdpolicy respectively, on Monday the 26th of April. In total 99 companies with high levels of maturity coming from Greece, Bulgaria, Cyprus and the rest of Southeastern Europe, applied to enter the Program addressing the four Challenges of the Program.

The startups were selected among the 22 shortlisted to enter the Visa Innovation Program SEE and there are more to join from Turkey following the upcoming second Selection Day on the 3rd on May organized by Hackquarters!

4 #Challenges of the 3rd Cohort Visa Innovation Program SEE

The whole first Selection Day of the 26th of April was held online and there was an undiminished interest from the attendees throughout the event. Special thanks to the Advisory committee comprised of Bank executives from: Alpha Bank, Attica Bank, Eurobank, National Bank of Greece, Piraeus Bank, Akbank, Dskbank, Postbank, Raiffeisen Bank, Unicredit Bank and VakifBank who participated actively in the whole Selection Day and process.

⭐⭐⭐ 91 participants and executives stayed connected during the whole virtual Selection Day, the spirit was high the whole time as the pitches from all the shortlisted companies were particularly interesting and engaging!

Before and after the official pitching, the shortlisted companies had the chance to meet with senior Bank experts in B2B networking sessions.

  • Parkadoro: Cloud-based, leading parking management software, ideal for small-medium car parks. It works on many devices (laptop, PC, mobile) including inside a POS.
  • Roadcube: Loyalty As A Service Platform where companies of all sizes can create any kind of loyalty scheme or loyalty marketplace without development and consumers can follow these schemes via 1 user account.
  • Rilla Digital Platform: Rilla is a mobile application for personal finance management, which aims to make the latest fintech achievements accessible to all.
  • Tap2Pay: Tap2Pay activates payments on all digital channels: websites, social networks, messengers.
  • Welcome Pickups: Welcome Pickups is a global leader in travel mobility and ground transportation serving millions of travelers in more than 55 destinations.
