Mckamey manor is an American haunted house attraction where survival horrors events are performed. The Mckamey manor started in San Diego, now has locations in Alabama and Tennessee. The Mckamey manor horror house offers $20000 to spend 10 hours inside. But getting the prize money is not so easy as it seems. The manor is famously labeled as a “survival horror” performance house and was founded by Russ Mckamey.

To participate a reservation has to be made. The price of admission is a bag of dog food. And the haunted house fan must be 21 or older. Then they must go through a lengthy screening process.

The process requires each person to complete a sports physical, which includes a doctor’s letter stating You are physically and mentally cleared”, pass a background check provided by Mckamey , a screening on Facebook, FaceTime or over the phone, provide proof of medical insurance; sign a 40-page waiver; create a safe word and pass a drug test. Even though many participants have complained that they don’t listen to the safe word.

The torture possibilities are laid in the 40-page waiver that participants sigh: getting your teeth pulled out, consuming animal feces, getting fingernails pulled out, coming into contact with venomous animals, just to name a few. A tour can last anywhere from 4 to 10 hours and if you make it all the way through, you get $20000. No one has made it through.

While no one has died(yet), incidents of serious mental and physical damage have been reported. Victims, however, are unable to nail Mckamey manor with a lawsuit because it is perfectly legal everyone sighs that huge waiver that says exactly what they can do to you.

One man was allegedly tortured so badly, it wasn’t until the workers thought they had killed him that they finally decided to stop.

one Reddit user wrote that the reason Mckamey doesn’t accept any money is because “ he only desires the footage of what he puts his customers through. His payment I having footage of people crying, throwing up, having mental breakdown and begging for him to let them go.”

Russ Mckamey told Fox news: “ It’s really is like watching somebody live their own horror movie right there, six inches in front of the face.”

Mckamey manor was recently featured on an episode of Netflix series Dark Tourist.

After knowing all these stuff people are still going through this living nightmare. No person has died yet but there is a high possibility of dying. It’s just a kidnapping and torture house.
