Introducing The Crypt
Summary
The Crypt is a NFT collection with 99 hand drawn genesis NFTs. The group was born out of the PhantomDAO community, led by Casper. The goal of The Crypt is to share alpha and help each other grow in all aspects of life. If you align with this mentality and are inclusive by nature, please join us ❤.
Mission
The mission of The Crypt is to form a small community of like-minded individuals who are self-aware and possess a growth mindset. Although there are tangible benefits to holding these NFTs, the best takeaways will be the lasting relationships built within this small, tight-knit community.
The Art
The extremely talented artist is Coffee from the PhantomDAO community. Coffee has hand drawn every single element of every NFT.
The Generals (pictured in this article) are all 1/1 customs. Soldiers will have rarity based traits, which will possess relevant cultural references to existing DeFi projects (:cas_wink:).

The auctioned NFTs will be announced in the PhantomDAO Discord server without much warning. There will never be more than one auction live at a time. Some care will be taken to avoid wallets owning more than one NFT, but it is a free market and we cannot guarantee this. As a valued member of the community, please respect others by giving them the opportunity to own a Cryptie — there are only 99 after all.
Beginning auction price will be set to 0 ETH and the auction times will vary on a case-by-case basis. I’d like the community to decide the value of each NFT.
Value
Rebasing NFTs. An ingenious idea which is attributable to Smokey the Bera, creator of The Bong Bears NFT collection. I’m very grateful to have Smokey advising on the project and blessing us with his unique perspective and approval.
The rebases will shake out as below:
Each generation of Cryptie will receive the rebase of all generations that come after them —making it clear to see how earlier generation collections become more valuable, with genesis being the most valuable of course.
As time goes on, I will think of more creative ways to bring value to the Crypties — with emphasis placed on the genesis holders, (3,3) diamond handers will win the biggest here.
But for now, keep your eyes peeled — we’re launching thooner than you think.
