1% Cryptocurrency Cashback When You Spend Fiat

I want to talk about something I’ve been waiting for that is finally a reality and that is cryptocurrency cashback on your fiat purchases with Revolut Metal.

But ever since I got into the cryptocurrency business I’ve been bursting for a company to let me spend my fiat currency and give me the cashback in crypto.
That way, we could all take advantage of cost averaging, effectively receiving a very small amount of crypto every time we make a fiat purchase.
Well, this morning I could hardly contain myself when I learned that Revolut have launched this exact service.
Their Metal card pays up to 1% cashback in any one of 29 currencies including Bitcoin, LiteCoin and Ether.
I’m so excited about this.
Think about what this could do for cryptocurrency adoption when you no longer have to think about how much crypto to buy and when.
Millions of people can now literally put this on autopilot.
It also creates a nice steady consistent buying pressure on cryptocurrency purchased in fiat currency.
I’m thinking what would happen if I switched my business purchases over to a card like this.
I’d basically be getting 1% of my spending volume back in crypto.
When I start thinking like that I get really excited.
According to the Daily HODL, you can earn 1% on card transactions made outside of Europe but only 0.1% on transactions inside Europe…
I’m not exactly sure why that is but I’m assuming that’s temporary because 0.1% is not appealing at all.
It’s especially not enough to get me to switch.
