We live in a dynamic world. A world that we consider to be the most advance, at least in reality. Although we do seem to have a pretty good idea of how vast and advance the world outside our planet can be.

Space opera, a term having nothing to do with, well, Opera singing. But has everything to do with space. I think we unintentionally have a rough and torn idea that there could be a world out somewhere, far away, different from our earth. This idea is depicted in the type of movies we create and watch. From aliens to creatures that, if seen on earth, could make us want to hide in a tunnel and never come out, we create them in our imagination world.

Now, coming back to our reality, how many times have we seen those claims from NASA that say ‘Aliens do exist.’? Way too many for us to even care about them at this point. Doesn’t that seem like an indicator enough to wonder whether are we like, for real, living in a Space Opera that we only used to read in comic books and watch in Star war films? I think yes. Let’s get deeper into the science part. According to scientists only about, 4 per cent of the entire space has been discovered. So what about the rest 96 per cent? Who knows what kind of aliens or supernatural creatures reside in that enormous, gigantic hollow space. Maybe Jadu from ‘Koi Mil Gaya’ does exist. At least I hope he does; I’d love to fly in the air playing basketball. And not to mention the 80 per cent of ocean life that we have never explored. My inner ‘megalodon’ fan would love to see one in real life.

Possibilities are that maybe if we don’t stop our over-production of e-garbage, Wall-E would have to decide the fate of mankind eventually. Moreover, our imagination of the Space Opera could turn out to be true. Maybe we do have an idea about it that we try to make live through our fiction world. Or maybe we may live in a space opera world without realizing it.
