Ridiculous Ways to Die in ‘The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’
Nintendo released its heavy-hitter The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for the Nintendo Switch earlier this month, and gamers have spent a lot of their time … dying. The game can get pretty difficult, leading to numerous deaths for our Hylian hero Link. But the gaming community doesn’t seem to mind as many of these ridiculous kills make for some great entertainment. Here are some horrible but hilarious ways to die in Breath of the Wild.
Admit it. You walked off the first tower to your doom.
In BotW, you can climb anywhere, except when you can’t.
That feeling when you finally get your first horse, then die seconds later.
So apparently metal conducts electricity.
Bomberman was also a Switch launch game. But don’t confuse the two!
On that note, don’t confuse Link with Indiana Jones either.
Ever hear the term “Let sleeping giants lie?” Well, Link hasn’t.
Link should star in PSAs like “Don’t play with magnets.”
Or “Don’t play with homemade catapults.”
Or “Don’t ride on a flinging rock. Just don’t.”
And most veteran Zelda players know this, but don’t ever hit a Cucco!
It’s a lesson for enemies, too.
We end with a quadruple death, showing us that Link should just stay down for his own sake.
There are many more ways to die, and gamers are finding them every day. But that’s awesome, because every death means you tried something new. What ways have you led Link to his untimely demise in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild?
