On this Saturday, news is a lot more packed. We’ve got release dates, updates and more! Here are your essential stories for Saturday, January 7th 2016.

Ed Boon has announced the release date for Injustice 2:

You can always count on Ed Boon’s Twitter account for surprises, and yesterday, he unveiled the release date for the highly anticipated Injustice 2. The game will launch on May 16th, but there’s been no clarification as to this is a worldwide launch. (The first game released in Europe two days after the U.S. got it) We’ll update when more information is provided.

Mass Effect Andromeda isn’t getting a Season Pass, but it will still support EA Access:

BioWare’s General Manager Aaryn Flynn has been answering fan questions related to Mass Effect: Andromeda on Twitter, and he’s shared that the game will not have a Season Pass, but will support EA Access. Unfortunately, no date has been provided for how early EA Access members will receive the game. Mass Effect Andromeda comes out on March 21st of this year.

Two Guilty Gear games have returned to Steam:

In terms of digital services, games can sometimes be delisted if a franchise/license/right expires. However, Arc System Works has reversed the issue in the case of Guilty Gear X2 #Reload and Guilty Gear Isuka, which were formerly removed from Steam on August 1st 2016. The original games released from 2003–2006.

Shadow Warrior 2 is coming to consoles around April or May:

The official Shadow Warrior Twitter account has announced that Shadow Warrior 2 is coming to Playstation 4 and Xbox One, likely during April or May of this year. This is because the game still needs to be approved and development isn’t completely finished, but more will be announced soon in terms of specifics.

Nyko is developing accessories for PS4 Slim, Pro, Playstation VR:

Video game accessory company Nyko has shown off it’s new products at CES 2016, including ones which support the newly released HTC Vive, Playstation VR, Playstation 4, Playstation Pro, and Xbox One S. These include charging ports, data banks, and “halos”. Specific release dates have not been provided.
