Today we’ve got more confirmations of Nintendo Switch ports, as well as some games being continued with new forms of releases. Here are your essential stories for Wednesday, February 22nd, 2017.

Troll and I is coming to the Nintendo Switch:

Developer Spiral House and publisher Maximum Games have shared news of their adventure title Troll and I coming to Nintendo Switch. While the game unfortunately won’t share the same date as other console and PC versions (March 21st) it will launch later in the Spring. Check out a new trailer below.

Tokyo Game Show 2017 has been confirmed, along with a date + theme:

Tokyo Game Show is returning this year, and this time it will be hosted in the same place (Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Tokyo) at around the same time (September 21st to 24th). This year’s theme has also been revealed to be “experience beyond reality”, which has been lifted by the conventions expansion of augmented and mixed reality products. For the first time, there will also be E-sports.

Dead Rising 4 is being brought over to Steam, and soon:

Capcom has announced that Dead Rising 4 will hit Steam on March 14th, a move from the game’s original Windows 10 only PC release date. This version will only cost $40, and will receive a 20% discount if players pre-order, a new weapon is coming along as well.

Dragon Quest Heroes II has been given a Western release date:

Square Enix has revealed that Dragon Quest Heroes sequel is coming to the U.S. on April 25th, and April 28th in Europe. It will be $60, and will include 15 pieces of downloadable content. Along with this news, check out a new trailer below.

Celeste is coming to the Nintendo Switch:

Celeste, the climbing game made by the creators behind Towerfall, is coming to Nintendo Switch. Previously announced platforms for the game include Playstation 4 and PC, although there’s currently no release date (besides for a vague 2017). Check out a trailer below.
