The Cube-Daily News Update: 2/25/17

Today we have a boatload of Nintendo news, as well as some press for the biggest shooter franchises in the world. Here are your essential stories for Saturday, February 25th 2017.
3DS, WiiU Eshop Balances will transfer to the Nintendo Switch:

A week before the Switch’s launch, Nintendo has confirmed that Eshop balances from previous consoles (WiiU, 3DS) will be carried over, if Nintendo Network ID and Nintendo Accounts are linked. However, don’t expect to spend it on the virtual console, as that store aspect won’t be available at launch.
1,2, Switch is now sold out on Amazon:

Despite the mixed reception concerning its value, Nintendo Switch launch title 1,2, Switch is currently sold out on Amazon. Amazon has currently failed to provide a statement on when stock will be up, which is a big concern considering how soon the Switch launches.
Halo Wars 2 and its Ultimate Edition are getting price cuts:

Despite receiving positive reception, Halo Wars 2 and its Ultimate Edition are being reduced in price on PC. This means that you can now get the standard edition for $40, and the Ultimate Edition for the average price of a AAA game on release. Halo Wars 2 has only been out four days, launching on the 21st of this month.
Snipperclips is now a Switch launch title:

Nintendo of America has announced that indie title Snipperclips will no longer be available in the Switch’s launch window, instead being a launch title. The game originally was supposed to release sometime during March, but it’s recent move means that the amount of launch day exclusives has been upped to 3. (Others being The Legend of Zelda: The Breath of the Wild and 1, 2 Switch)
Infinite Warfare is getting a free multiplayer weekend on Steam:

Every Steam user now has a chance to play Infinite Warfare’s multiplayer for free until the 26th, thanks to a new promotion. However, this doesn’t include the game’s Zombies mode. Progress will carry over if those who play purchase the game following.
