On the last day of E3 2017, we get gifted not only Beyond Good and Evil 2 details, but also new 3DS indie games, and a whole lot of Anthem. Here are your essential stories for Thursday, June 15th 2017.

Beyond Good and Evil 2 is getting customizable characters, customizable ships, a realtime day and night cycle, and a whole lot more:

Thanks to behind closed door demoes and the words of game director Michel Ancel, we know now more about the newly revealed and heavily ambitious Beyond Good and Evil 2. First of all, although the game is in extremely early stages of development, (base graphics were added two weeks ago and its planned to be in a more playable state by next year) multiple systems have already been confirmed. This includes the absence of any load times, as well as a realtime day/night cycle, which supports a lot of customization within. Beyond Good and Evil 2 currently lacks any confirmed release date, or list of platforms.

Sony’s 2017 E3 presser made us excited about Horizon Zero Dawn’s first expansion, The Frozen Wilds, but some details were absent, including an ever so important price. But, thanks to a new Playstation Store listing, we now know the game will cost $15 ($20 for non-Plus members) when it releases sometime later this year. No plans have been made for a physical version.

The writing lead of the first two Mass Effects is working on Anthem:

Twitter fan Q&A’s are always the best place to get in n outs of game information from developers themselves, and today, this was the case for Bioware’s upcoming IP, Anthem. We now know that Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 lead writer Drew Karpyshyn will be working on the game, this follows his 2015 work on Star Wars: The Old Republic. Anthem is launching for Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Terry Crews will be playable in Crackdown 3:

Terry Crews surprisingly appeared in Microsoft’s E3 2017 Crackdown trailer, and now he’s a confirmed character, thanks to a confirmation by Reagant Games design director Garrett Wilson in a new IGN interview. The origins of Crews appearance were also confirmed to have come from a marketing call, Crackdown 3 is set to launch on November 7th.

Nintendo’s newest standout 3DS indie title is Sushi Striker Way of the Sushido:

Nintendo saved one last small surprise for their Nintendo Treehouse presentations, it being indie puzzle-action game Sushi Striker: The Way of Sushido for 3DS developed by indiezero, the studio behind NES Remix. The game is set to launch sometime next year, and you can watch the first trailer below.
