Its not E3 just yet, but there is a boatload of new game announcements. Here are your essential stories for Friday, June 9th 2017.
Roll7 has revealed their new collaboration with 505Games:
Known as the masterminds behind skating indie OlliOlli, Roll7 has announced their 505Games collaboration Laser League, set to launch on Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC next year. The game is a 4v4 arcade style arena game, paired with a ton of content. You can watch the first trailer below.
Guilty Gear developers ArcSystemWorks are working on a new Dragon Ball title:
Bandai Namco’s next Dragon Ball game is Dragon Ball Fighters, the company revealed today in an accidental announcement, with more set to come on June 12th. The title will be developed by ArcSystemWorks, best known for their contributions to the Guilty Gear series, and will launch on Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC early next year. There is no trailer at the moment, but two leaked screenshots are available.
Square Enix has given a release date for their new indie title Black the Fall:
Black The Fall, a puzzle game set during Romania’s communist rule, now has a release date, Sand Sailor Studios announced today. The game will launch on July 11th 2017 for Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC, and will be published by Square Enix. Watch a trailer below.
Kingdom Come Deliverance now has a release date:
Along with a new trailer and plenty of screenshots, Warhorse Studios has revealed their medieval RPG Kingdom Come: Deliverance will now launch for PC, Playstation 4 (with Pro support), Xbox One, Mac, and Linux, on February 13th 2018. This means that the game won’t hit its original 2017 launch window, Kingdom Come was first announced three years prior.
Bubsy is returning in The Woolie Strikes Back:
90’s publisher Accolade is coming back, and is bringing their platformer franchise Bubsy back first. Titled The Woolies Strike Back, it will be developed by Black Forest (the studio behind Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams) and will release sometime this Fall for Playstation 4 and PC. Accolade has also promised they will bring back such games as Hardball, Slave Zero, and more.
