Whether its Xbox or Nintendo, plenty of companies are doing the convincing. Here are your essential stories for Sunday, July 23rd 2017.

Blizzard longtime composer Russel Brower has left the company:

Known for his work on StarCraft 2, Hearthstone, Diablo 3, and more, Blizzard composer Russel Brower has been fired from the acclaimed game company, due to the recent adjustment of the sound team. However, Brower has stated that he’s still committed to do soundtrack work by freelance, and will be working on his first solo album in the meantime. The last game Brower worked on was Overwatch, he is also known for his three Emmy wins.

Frontier Developments, the studio behind Elite Dangerous, are working on a movie licensed game set to release next year:

In a new interview with Glixel, David Braben of Frontier Developments has revealed the studio is working on a movie tie-in game, which will launch sometime next year. While other details are sparse, this would be the companies first game since Elite Dangerous and its plenty of expansions. That game first released in December 2014.

Bravo Team and Matterfall have been added the 2017 PSX Asia lineup:

Both shown at this years E3, platforming shooter Matterfall and VR shooter Bravo Team will be playable at Playstation Experience Asia 2017. If you aren’t familiar with PSX Asia, its taking place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on August 5th. Previously confirmed games at the show include Far Cry 5, Knack 2 and Ni No Kuni 2, Matterfall launches mid-August of this year while Bravo Team releases sometime next year.

Microsoft is now pairing a free bonus game with the purchase of an Xbox One 1TB:

If you haven’t gotten the chance to purchase a 1TB Xbox One yet but are planning to, well today is your lucky day. Its been announced that you can now receive a free bonus game with a purchase of the console, this ranges from titles such as Battlefield 1, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, Halo Wars 2, and more. The deal does not include packages for upcoming games. The 1TB Xbox One model originally released in November 2014 as part of a Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare promotional bundle.

The first legendary Pokemon in Pokemon Go is… Lugia:

Announced at the inaugural Pokemon Go fest in Chicago, Articuno and Lugia are set to be the first legendaries released within the popular mobile game. The latter launches first and can be caught during special Raid Battles, although if you attended Pokemon Go fest, you’ll be receiving it without any battles due to the issues currently taking place. As for Articuno, the pocket monster doesn’t have a release date, but will first be released with Team Mystic. Pokemon Go first released in summer of last year.
