Dying Light and Killing Floor strike in the same night, but everything else is less common with fright. Here are your essential stories for Wednesday, July 26th 2017.

The Sims 4 is coming to console this Fall:

Three years following the games launch, The Sims 4 is coming to Playstation 4 and Xbox One this fall. The game will release on November 17th with all DLC, and by pre-ordering the Deluxe Party Edition you can receive the game three days early, and if you have EA Access, you can also play the title on November 9th. Dying Light developer Techland is debuting a new digital distribution platform with a community focus:

Coming off of an announced commitment to free Dying Light DLC, Techland has revealed Gemly, a community focused digital distribution platform which will host various Content Drops. This doesn’t mean that the service’s content is exclusive to Techland however, the company has invited numerous third party publishers to join in. Techland also attributed Gemlys creation in order deliver new challenges/mysteries for fans. Dying Light first launched in January 2015, and its main expansion pack, The Following launched a year and one month later in February of last year.

Metroid Prime 4, Pokemon for Nintendo Switch, and more, have received more concrete release windows:

In Nintendo Japan’s newly released slate, more specific release timeframes have been given for some hotly anticipated Switch titles. The first, Pokemon for Nintendo Switch, will release sometime in 2018 or later, while Metroid Prime 4 unfortunately has an overall release date of TBA or later. Both titles were announced at Nintendo’s live-streamed conference that coincided with this years E3.

Killing Floor 2 is coming to Xbox One, and will support Xbox One X:

If you are an Xbox One owner who worried about missing out on Killing Floor 2, you no longer have to worry. The game is coming to the console and will support the upcoming Xbox One X, on top of including already released DLC. Details for X support haven’t been fully supported, but we know the game will retail for $40 and launch on August 29th for the console. Killing Floor 2 first released in November of last year.

Here is Playstation Plus’s August games lineup:

Playstation Plus’s August lineup has been revealed. It includes Just Cause 3 and Assassins Creed: Freedom Cry for Playstation 4, Super Motherload and Snakeball for Playstation 3, and Level 22 and Downwell for Playstation Vita (The latter is cross-buy) This is also the final month where users can receive party game Thats You! for free, and bonuses are also being given for Dreadnaught which launches on August 15th.
