The Cube-Daily News Update: 7/28/16

We’ve got a big news day today, in terms of free trials, remasters, ports, updates/DLC and rereleases. Here are your essential stories for Thursday, July 27th 2016.
Warhammer End Times Vermintide is coming to console:

A sleeper hit last year, the horde-based fantasy FPS is coming to consoles on October 4th developer Fatshark has just announced. It will be published by Nordic at retail storefronts, and also include all the DLC that was previously seen in the PC version. Considering how great this game is, it’s a great thing to see it migrate elsewhere.
DOOM’s new DLC can be played for free, but with a catch:

Originally showcased at this year’s E3, DOOM’s first multiplayer add-on (titled Unto the Evil) will be released next Friday, but even better, is that if one person in your party has the DLC, everybody can play it. There will also be a double XP weekend and a couple new mode updates coming to the game soon, so DOOM’s multiplayer may be getting a bit better than how it was originally received.
Darksiders is being remastered for Playstation 4, Xbox One, and Wii U:

Nordic Games have been revitalizing a lot of THQ’s forgotten titles in the past year, and besides the rather unfortunate titles, they’ve been really solid so far. This is continuing with the newly revealed Darksiders: Warmastered Edition, which is set to release on Playstation 4, Xbox One, and even Wii U in October. It will be 60fps on Playstation 4 and Xbox One but 30fps on Wii U, in case you were wondering too.
Rainbow Six Siege will be having a free weekend on Xbox One and PC:

Rainbow Six Siege has been updated over the past year with bug fixes, balancing, and of course DLC, but if you own an Xbox One and or PC, you’ll be able to experience this without needing to pay upfront until August 1st. The Gold editions of the game are also being offered for half off, but it runs to the same date too.
Destiny may be getting another re-release:

Amazon has leaked a new listing for something called Destiny: The Collection, which is set to release before the upcoming Rise of Iron expansion. It unsurprisingly isn’t listed for last gen, but there hasn’t been an official announcement from Bungie and or Activision to what the whole thing entails. Oh well!
