The Cube-Daily News Update: 8/15/16

We’re a handful of days away from Gamescom, and in return, numerous companies have offered new trailers for some of 2016’s most anticipated titles. Here are your essential stories for Monday, August 15th 2016.

Battlefield 1 has a new trailer and beta date:

We’ve been asking for Battlefield 1’s beta for what seems like forever, but luckily, it’s coming pretty soon. Battlefield Insiders will get access 10 days before and the whole beta starts on the last day of August. In addition, EA has released a new trailer, which you can watch below.

Minecraft is now out on Oculus Rift:

You may remember the infamous John Carmac E3 2016 appearance for Minecraft’s VR Mode, but it looks like we won’t need to delve in any more awkwardness as the game is now out through a new update. Of course, you need Windows 10, but you probably already knew that anyways.

Fallout 4’s Nuka World has a new trailer:

While we aren’t hearing that lovely Atom Bomb song again, Bethesda has graced us with a new trailer for Fallout 4’s latest and last expansion, Nuka World. This is set to be the most substantial yet, and releases around the end of August. You can check out the trailer below.

Batman Arkham VR has gotten a new sneak peek:

Arguably one of the biggest launch titles for Playstation VR, Batman Arkham VR has gotten a new trailer, which you can check out below. Keep in mind that the game is $20 and only an hour, so that epic story experience might be shaved off a bit. That doesn’t leave any less reasons to get excited however.

Playstation 4’s 4.00 System Software has been fully detailed:

After a two year wait, the Playstation 4 is getting folders, and much much more. Although 4.00 doesn’t have an exact date at the moment, some improvements are coming to libraries to make them less cluttered, share features that have been expanded, and new user profiles. We can’t wait to see it in action!

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
