The Gamescom onslaught continues, with todays cream of the crop being mostly release dates. Here are your essential stories for Tuesday, August 22nd 2017.

Bethesda has now given all of their VR spinoffs official release dates:

Following the reveal of Doom VFR, Skyrim VR, and Fallout 4 VR at this year’s E3 and the previous year’s E3, Bethesda has granted dates to all of their VR spinoff titles. Fallout 4 VR is set to release first on October 12th, followed by Skyrim VR on November 17th and Doom VFR on December 1st. So far a new trailer has only released for one of the games (Doom VFR) in celebration, you can watch it below.

Bubsy: The Woolies Strike Back now has a release date:

Delayed out of its September window, Accolade has now announced a date, price, and physical edition for Bubsy: The Woolies Strike Back. First of all, the game is releasing on October 31st for $30, however you can purchase a physical version which will retail for $40. This will include a soundtrack CD, themed postcard, and Bubsy’s “official” business card. You can also watch a new trailer for the game below.

Fire Emblem Warriors has received a Western date:

Fire Emblem Warriors is set to release on September 28th in Japan, but fret not, Nintendo has finally given the game an official Western date. The Nintendo Switch hack and slash will be releasing on October 2oth in the Americas, along with two themed Amiibo (Chrom and Tiki) and a special edition. Rise of the Tomb Raider is being upgraded for the Xbox One X:

Square Enix has announced that Rise of the Tomb Raider will support the Xbox One X, through three different visual modes. These include native 4K, enriched visuals, and high frame-rate on top of other enhancements such as HDR support, enhanced Lara/NPC/environment textures, anti-aliasing and Dolby Atmos audio support. The Crew 2 now has a release date:

Ubisoft has announced an official date for The Crew 2, now set to release on March 16th for Playstation 4, Playstation 4 Pro, Xbox One, Xbox One X, and PC. This was shared alongside two new editions for the game, Deluxe which is $70 and includes two exclusive packs and three exclusive outfits, and Gold, which is $100 and includes a Season Pass, and two exclusive packs. You will also receive an exclusive pack if you pre-order the game, and if you pre-order the Gold edition you can play the game three days early. The Crew 2 was first unveiled at this years E3, the first game released in December 2014.
