Before setting out on your trip, it’s great to know up front what you may experience. What is Culture Shock?

Culture shock is the feeling of disorientation experienced by anyone who is surrounded by an unfamiliar culture, way of life, or set of attitudes. It can take place anytime you move from a familiar culture to one you are unfamiliar with.

If you’ve ever spent a period of time abroad, you’re likely familiar with culture shock. As you move through the process of understanding and adapting to the new ways things are done, you may face a wild range of emotions.
