Students must target an engineering entrance examination counting on their requirements. If a student wants to secure admission in government institutes like IITs, NITs, IIITs and Government-Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs), he/ she must aim for JEE Main/ JEE Advanced. Tech admission within the state, he/ she will appear for TS EAMCET exam. Such students will get engineering admission in their locality. Students who do not wish to remain within the hostel or paid accommodation and like to travel from home to school or college to home can aim for state-level engineering entrance examination.
