Mahomes and Gurley are easily the fantasy MVP’s this season and headline our №1 and №2 seeds.

Quick Week 13 Recap

Just like last year, Travis Kelce scored two TD’s for Anton in his matchup against Joe, making his playoff chances look secure. Instead, Keenan Allen exploded for 31.80 points on Sunday night, and Josh Adams couldn’t close the deal for Anton on Monday night despite multiple goal line attempts. The loss opened up the door for JR (again, just like last year), who easily won his matchup against Marlo to secure the playoff spot.

Some unreported drama last night — Tani was actually close to missing the playoffs, as there was a period in the game where Lando and the Philly Defense looked like they might secure a comeback over Tani and Jake Elliott, especially with Mark Sanchez looking likely to throw a pick-six at any moment. Ultimately Anton losing made a Tani loss irrelevant, and Tani won the matchup anyways as well.

Championship Bracket will still decide draft slots for the top 6 teams. Bottom 8 Draft Picks are locked:

1. Bunger
2. J Tong
3. Jeff
4. Lando
5. Marlo
6. Josh
7. Joe
8. Anton

Playoff Preview

In the Championship Bracket, Kevin and Binh have secured their Bye Weeks.

Kurtis and JR are facing off in the 3–6 matchup, but Kurtis is probably the underdog here due to the A.J. Green injury and Kareem Hunt suspension. Meanwhile for JR, Christian McCaffrey and Russell Wilson are playing out of their minds. Yahoo agrees and currently projects this as a 126.18–121.86 victory for Get Nuk If U Buck.

The other quarterfinal matchup is Mikey vs Tani. Newly acquired Rob Gronkowski will be an upgrade over Kyle Rudolph for Mikey, but the decline feels steeper with every week for the former fantasy superstar. Pretty solid gamble and trade for Binh despite Mikey being a playoff competitor since Mikey is on the opposite side of the bracket from Binh. Tani got a TE boost of his own, as Jaylen Samuels will be filling in for James Conner this week but has TE eligibility on Yahoo. Yahoo projects a close 129.68–127.42 win for Mikey.

REMINDER: Yahoo will not show the correct matchups throughout the Consolation and Bunghole playoffs.

I was able to move some seeds around so that Week 14 is correct for the Consolation Bracket only. I won’t have the ability to do that next week. The brackets for the bottom 8 teams are in Mazey and below for your reference:

Other End of Season Notes

As expected — despite a few losses for Binh at the end of the season — he easily claimed the 2018 Sweetest Stud award with a ridiculous 1789.67 total points, crushing last year’s record of 1594.42 points. The scoring boom was real across the league, as both Kevin (1698.41) and Kurtis (1613.11) surpassed that 2017 record as well.

Bunger wins the 2018 Milkiest Dud award with 1213.78 total points. Mikey still holds the all-time low score of 1131.98 points from 2017.
