Week 13 Rivalry Preview

Not quite as much craziness as last year, with pretty much all the top seeds playing bottom seeds, and some matchups have almost nothing to play for. But hey, that’s why this week has the $10 prize, to help juice up what could otherwise be a boring fantasy week. For extra motivation, I’ve also included the all-time record between the two teams. Let the trash talk begin.

1. CephaloScorin vs 13. Big Black Zeke

(Kevin 2–0 Jason)
Not a lot of stakes here, but a win by Kevin would clinch him the No.1 Seed. For J Tong, a place in the bottom 2 is pretty much guaranteed. Good thing Kevin has Jason’s 1st Round Pick… yikes.

2. Eww You Got Coutees vs 14. Take a Kaeperkneeck

(Binh 2–0 Bunger)
Similarly minimal stakes here. Binh can clinch a Playoff Bye with a win and potentially move back into the No.1 Seed if Kevin loses. Bunger can sleep easy knowing a top two draft pick is secure.

3. BLESS ‘EM vs 10. Daddy Fat Sack

(Mikey 0–2 Josh)
Mikey’s playoff spot is clinched, but he can still move around the seeding a bit. There’s way too many scenarios to discuss there, but he has a long shot at getting a Playoff Bye with a win and a Binh loss. For Josh, he needs a victory to clinch a Chumpion Playoff spot. If he loses and Lando gets a win, Josh falls into the Bunghole Playoffs, which would just be sad considering his nightmare season.

4. NowWeHere vs 12. Fried Watermelon

(Kurtis 0–2 Jeff)
Unfortunately nothing to see here. While not technically clinched for playoffs due to record, Kurtis’ points essentially make him a lock. For Jeff, he’s already locked into the Bunghole playoffs.

5. Pocket Locketts vs 11. Throwin Fitz

(Tani 1–1 Lando)
Now we’re talkin. Tani needs a win to clinch his playoff spot. He’s still in good shape with a loss, but he’ll need to make sure he stays ahead of JR in points if JR gets a win. Anton taking a loss would clinch Tani’s spot as well, since Tani has the points advantage over him. For Lando, he needs a win here and a Josh loss to sneak into the Chumpion Playoffs.

6. Purple People Eaters vs 8. Hey Darnold!

(Anton 0–2 Joe)
Anton needs a victory here to clinch a playoff spot. A loss and a JR win would push him down to the 7th spot. A year ago Anton was in this same exact position and Joe defeated him to take him out. For Joe, he’s essentially locked in the Chumpion Playoffs thanks to record and points tiebreakers.

7. Get Nuk If U Buck vs 9. ULA Peacocks

(JR 1–1 Marlo)
JR needs a win to have a chance at playoffs, but needs a couple things mentioned above to seal his spot: either a Tani loss plus outscoring him by 1.68 points, or just a simple loss by Anton (70.48 point advantage over him). Marlo is pretty much locked in the Chumpion Playoffs due to record and points.
