Ranking process is the same as every year: Rosters are graded using FantasyPros current-year rankings. Overall grades were assigned as well as broken into a team’s starters, bench, and by position. Every grade is done on a scale versus the other teams in the league.

However, like last year, what’s presented is just a depth chart with a player’s overall FPros rank and positional rank. I also have a points projection based on historical fantasy data for each position.

14. Binh

It’s pretty bleak for Binh this year. The only starter-level ranked skill position players are Tee Higgins and Michael Thomas, who is a huge question mark himself.

Projected Weekly Points: 84.02
Projected Record: 2–11

13. Tani

Tani projects to be a little bit better than Binh, thanks to a couple RB2 ranked players in Hall and Dobbins, and a strong fantasy QB with Hurts. Devonta Smith also inches in as a WR3.

Projected Weekly Points: 87.49
Projected Record: 3–10

12. JR

To be fair, it looks to be a crowded middle class this year after the bottom 2 of Binh and Tani. That said, one CMC injury and the rest of the roster could make a case for the worst in 2022. Assuming health though, Allen, CMC, and Hopkins should be enough to squeak out some wins upon Hopkins return.

Projected Weekly Points: 106.61
Projected Record: 4–9

11. Zane

Like I said, it projects to be another crowded middle class. Teams 12–8 will probably all hover around the 5-6 win range. Zane lands here due to the lowest ranked QB situation in the league (6 point passing touchdowns matters!) and poor depth.

Projected Weekly Points: 103.59
Projected Record: 5–8

10. Jason

For a “rebuilding” team, there’s some talent here to stay fairly competitive week to week. The WR room isn’t looking great for 2022 but there’s Aiyuk buzz building again and Jameson Williams could hit the ground running when he gets healthy.

Projected Weekly Points: 104.61
Projected Record: 5–8

9. Marlo

I wish I could rank Marlo higher cuz that man needs some good fantasy juju but on the other hand, maybe it’s better I don’t curse him? Marlo is pretty strong at QB and RB but WR certainly leaves a lot to be desired unless Garrett Wilson can pop off as a rookie.

Projected Weekly Points: 105.98
Projected Record: 5–8

8. Jeff

I also feel bad ranking our reigning champion down here but Cinderella can’t party all night. Eventually the clock strikes 12. This team will be competitive but JT and Pitts can only do so much.

Projected Weekly Points: 106.48
Projected Record: 6–7

7. Mikey

Mikey will undoubtedly complain about this so to be clear, he is squarely in the playoff contender tier. Someone has to be 7th though and to spoil the 6th ranked team in advance…I had to give the nod to a team that has been in the finals for 3 straight years.

Projected Weekly Points: 111.58
Projected Record: 8–5
