Kevin received:

2017 Round 1, Pick 7 (7th OVR) [Mike Williams, WR — LAC]

Binh received:

2017 Round 1, Pick 8 (8th OVR) [Marshawn Lynch, RB— OAK]
2017 Round 3, Pick 13 (42nd OVR) [Jonnu Smith, TE— TEN]

Most dynasty sites have Mike Williams ranked 6th in what some view as a clear-cut top tier of six rookies. After Marlo went OJ Howard at Pick 6 instead, Kevin pounced to move up one pick and take the promising rookie out of Clemson. Binh, not sold on Williams, gladly took the extra 3rd rounder Kevin offered to move down one slot.

Kurtis received:

2017 Round 1, Pick 12(12th OVR) [Kareem Hunt, RB— KC]

Anton received:

2017 Round 2, Pick 1(16th OVR) [Evan Engram, TE— NYG]
2018 3rd Round Pick — Kurtis

Kurtis, eager to restock his RB position after last year’s unfortunate results, paid a 2018 3rd to move up 4 spots and snag Kareem Hunt who surely would’ve been gone by the 16th pick. I was actually debating between Hunt and Engram at Pick 12, and as luck would have it, Engram was still on the board at Pick 16.

Anton received:

2017 Round 2, Pick 4 (19th OVR) [John Brown, WR— ARI]
2017 Round 3, Pick 4 (33rd OVR) [Kenny Golladay, WR— DET]

Orlando received:

2017 Round 2, Pick 1 (16th OVR) [Evan Engram, TE — NYG]
2018 Round 3, Pick 11 (40th OVR) [Dede Westbrook, WR— JAX]

At Pick 16, Engram was great value for a rookie usually mocked in the 1st Round, and while I like to draft talent over fit, I was taking offers with Kelce and Ebron already on my roster. Mikey and I were about to shake on a deal when Lando swooped in, allowing me to move down 3 spots in the 2nd round to move up 7 in the 3rd. Win-win for me and Lando, and Mikey took an L, so everyone wins!

Mikey received:

Jamaal Charles, RB— DEN
2017 Round 2, Pick 7 (22nd OVR) [Marlon Mack, RB— IND]
2018 3rd Round Pick — Tani

Tani received:

Cooper Kupp, WR — LAR
Greg Olsen, TE— CAR

Mikey and Tani continue to play hot potato with Jamaal Charles, with the RB going back to Mikey’s team. I believe this marks the 4th time Charles has “changed” teams if you count the start-up draft. Greg Olsen also ends up back with Tani after a brief stint with Mikey’s team. I will await another Jamaal Charles trade between you two during the 2018 season.

Mikey received:

2017 Round 3, Pick 9 (38th OVR) [ArDarius Stewart, WR — NYJ]
2017 Round 3, Pick 12 (41st OVR) [Ryan Switzer, WR — DAL]
2017 Round 4, Pick 9 (52nd OVR) [Jason Witten, TE— DAL]

Binh received:

2017 Round 2, Pick 13 (28th OVR) [Gerald Everett, TE — LAR]

After getting the extra 3rd rounder in the trade with Kevin, Binh had 7 total draft picks and wisely consolidated three late round picks into Pick 28, where he grabbed rookie Rams TE Gerald Everett. Mikey on the other hand only had 3 draft picks, all in the second round, and decided to ship off one of them to take a scattershot approach to the back end of the draft.

Mikey received:

2017 Round 4, Pick 11 (54th OVR) [Elijah Hood, RB— OAK]

Josh received:

2018 4th Round Pick — Mikey

Josh took a nap during the long gap between his only two picks — Pick 11 and Pick 54. Instead of having to make a pick when he woke up, he decided to just keep sleeping until 2018, getting Mikey’s 4th rounder next year. Mikey gladly made the swap because #immediategratification. I’m sure he also couldn’t take the risk of having the Raiders rookie RB get drafted by anyone else.

Draft grades coming soon! ish… maybe.
