As mentioned, these teams got a similar version to these exit interviews in the Championship Weekend Preview, so I’m just gonna power through these pretty quickly.

3. Binh (Eww You Got Coutees)

Preseason Power Ranking: 1st
Mid Season Power Ranking: 1st
Final Position Ranks
QB: 7th
RB: 1st
WR: 4th
TE: 7th

What Went Right

Binh dominated throughout the regular season with a big three of Todd Gurley (RB 1), Adam Thielen (WR 7), and Michael Thomas (WR 8). The rest of his roster was littered with talent as well: Jared Goff, Aaron Rodgers (QBs 7 and 8), Chris Carson (RB 13), and he made a late trade for Phillip Lindsay (RB 12). Don’t forget about Greg the Leg either — he missed multiple games due to injury but his 11.55 point average ranks 1st among all kickers.

What Went Wrong

As we all know, Binh once again fell short of a Championship, placing 3rd for the third time in a row. Not much else needs to be said.

The Path Ahead

Binh should be right back near the top of the standings next season, if not the presumptive favorite. One 1st and two 2nd Round Picks will only strengthen his chances.

2. Kevin (CephaloScorin)

Preseason Power Ranking: 8th
Mid Season Power Ranking: 3rd
Final Position Ranks
QB: 1st
RB: 7th
WR: 9th
TE: 2nd

What Went Right

Mahomes (QB 1) and George Kittle (TE 2) broke out in a massive way in their sophomore seasons. Along with Melvin Gordon (RB 2 by average points) and JuJu Smith-Schuster (WR 9), those four essentially did all of the heavy lifting.

What Went Wrong

Kevin dealt with injuries to three big names: Jimmy G, Devonta Freeman, and Hunter Henry. Thanks to Mahomes and Kittle though, the Freeman injury is really the only thing that went wrong. And of course, the fact that Kevin finished 2nd as opposed to 1st.

The Path Ahead

Kevin’s team is young, deep, and talented. He also has two 1st Round Picks, one of which is the 1.02. The rest of the league needs to pray he doesn’t have another draft like 2017 when he drafted JuJu, Mahomes, and Kittle (and Mike Williams ain’t bad either).

1. JR (Get Nuk If U Buck)

Preseason Power Ranking: 9th
Mid Season Power Ranking: 5th
Final Position Ranks
QB: 6th
RB: 3rd
WR: 2nd
TE: 13th

What Went Right

Our 2018 Champ was led by Russell Wilson (QB 6), Christian McCaffrey (RB 3), and DeAndre Hopkins (WR 2). Robert Woods was a sneaky top-tier fantasy player as well, finishing as WR 10.

What Went Wrong

The man had a Cinderella run all the way to a Championship! I’ll pass on nitpicking players or positions that could have performed better.

The Path Ahead

JR’s team is another example in fantasy that as long as you make it into the playoffs, anything can happen. With Russ, McCaffrey, and Hopkins, JR has the fantasy studs to do it all again in 2019. If he can continue to hit on a few draft picks like Robert Woods (FA in 2017 Rookie Draft) and Calvin Ridley, all the better.
