Carson Wentz led all players with 35.24 points in Week 14…get well soon :(

Quick Week 14 Recap

The Quarterfinals had a chance for some craziness heading into Monday night, but instead it was fairly anticlimactic with JR and Kevin falling short. They’ll match up this week for the glory of 5th place.

In the Consolation Bracket, the Bunghole (last week until the title is passed on) took down Jeff with ease. And while there was the slightest glimmer of hope for Anton with Brady struggling Monday night, Josh eventually got the victory without much stress.

Down in the Bunghole Bracket, Mikey got two touchdowns from Landry on Monday night and defeated J Tong easily. Marlo however, watched as Julius Thomas put up a pitiful 0.10 point performance, and ended up losing to Joe.

Semifinal Matchups

Lando had to sweat more than he would’ve liked, but so far so good as he continues his all-in push towards a Championship. He’ll face Kurtis this week, who is no longer the dominant force he was earlier in the season. However, Hunt finally had a bounce back game last week, and Kurtis will be praying that Hunt can keep it going. That Chiefs-Chargers game will be doubly fun (stressful?) for these two team owners, as their QBs Smith and Rivers are facing off against each other as well.

Fun fact I didn’t notice before: Not only is Binh a repeat in the final four, he was actually the only playoff team from last year to make it again this year. The 5 other playoff teams were all new entries. Binh faces off against Tani, who has Le’Veon on an absolute tear right now. The big story line for this matchup will be the possible return of Aaron Rodgers for Binh. If he comes back, we’ll have another fun QB matchup as Tani has Cam Newton and the Packers are playing the Panthers this weekend.

Chumpion Bowl and Bunghole Bowl

The Bunghole faces off against Josh for the Consolation 1st Round Pick, and we have another QB parallel matchup! (anyone have a better name for this?) The Steelers are playing the Patriots this Sunday, and the Bunghole and Josh have Big Ben and Tom Brady. The story lines just write themselves sometimes.

Finally, the Bunghole Bowl: featuring Marlo and J Tong. It’s quite the fall for J Tong — one year ago he was matched up against me in the Championship. Now, one of these two fine fellows will be crowned the new Bunghole. Don’t worry though Bunger, you’ll always be our first…
