The Rundown

With an unfortunate QB duo of Blake Bortles and Eli Manning on his roster, Jeff makes a low-risk move to acquire Marcus Mariota. There’s no sugarcoating it, the Titans QB has been quite a disappointment after a productive sophomore season in 2016 and ever since then he seems to consistently pick up minor injuries that hamper his ability on the field. Still, Mariota is only 25 years old and has spent this offseason gaining muscle to better withstand the rigors of an NFL season.

Anton traded a 2nd Round Pick to acquire Mariota just over a year ago but decides he can no longer wait and hope on his development. With this move, the rumor mill continues to swirl that he has plans on heading into 2019 with a new QB, whether that be through the draft or a trade with another team.
