Week 8 is in the books and I’m back with a weekly recap. Jason’s team quieted some doubters with an impressive win, needing all of his weekly high points to defeat Joe, who scored the second highest of the week but took home an L. Meanwhile, Kurtis’ RB depleted team continues to struggle, and his team scored the weekly low.

With 5 weeks remaining in the fantasy season, the playoff picture is starting to surface with Jason and Binh currently occupying the top two spots at 7–1 and 6–2, respectively. However, plenty of playoff spots are still up for grabs, as we have three 5–3 teams and three 4–4 teams. Marlo and Joe are also still lurking at 3–5, hoping that their high scoring translates to some wins down the final stretch.

Jason continues to ride his winning streak, which is a league-leading 5 weeks. Jeff has the longest slump in the league, also at 5 weeks.

Sweet Studs

Hail Gabbert (Kurtis): 89.76
2 Gurley’s 1 Cup (JR): 93.42
Fried Watermelon (Jeff): 95.78
