I’m still trying to rub the sleep from my eyes when the coffee maker sounds its glorious chimes of completion. I’m a morning person but 5:30 a.m. on a Saturday is pushing it.

Even for me.

Why am I up, fully dressed and waiting on the rest of my family before the sun even thinks about flirting with the horizon?
