Electric GT Holdings have confirmed a 10 race schedule
The Tesla based electric racing series has confirmed locations for the 2018/19 calendar.
Fans of the new series have been waiting quite some time for the makers to confirm a calendar. The newly FIA approved racing series will feature a field of 20 identical Tesla Model S P100D’s. These will be modified to fit FIA specifications. The timeline was originally pushed back for the start of the series but Electric GT Holdings have finally confirmed some countries and circuits
Pre race: Circuit Pau Arnos
- Circuito de Jerez, Spain: November 3/4th 2018
- Circuit Paul Ricard, France: Feb/Mar 2019
- Nurburgring, Germany: Jun 29th 2019
- Circuit Park Assen, Netherlands: Jul 20/212019
- Silverstone, UK: Sept 2019
- Algarve Portimao Circuit, Portugal: Oct 12/13 2019
The pre race at Circuit Pau Arnos will be used for testing in which all teams must be present. This will be behind closed doors.
Circuito de Jerez will be home to races one and two. Two locations in other continents have yet to be confirmed but there will be 10 races. Races four and five will be held in one unconfirmed location and the last unconfirmed location will host race nine. This brings the total number of races to 10.
