Max Verstappen is staying with Red Bull Racing

The young star will be staying until 2020

Recently, the Formula 1 paddock has learned that Max Verstappen is staying with Red Bull Racing until 2020. This is a big signing for the young driver and Red Bull will also be very happy with the outcome. A strong driver lineup is a key factor for success in Formula 1.

As every fan knows, this year has been pretty rough for Max. Despite mechanical problems Red Bull was likely the best bet. Its a strategic move for Max and Red Bull because this deal will lead them right to the end of the current engine regulations. This gives both Max and the team flexibility when moving forward.

Max coupled with teammate Daniel Ricciardo is a powerhouse to be reckoned with. Its also nice to see Max deploying some patience especially after the issues mentioned above.

Its been no secret that Max’s father Jos has had a big impact on whats happened with his Formula 1 career. Jos has been especially critical this year but its clear they both understand the current landscape of Formula 1. 2018 is looking like it will be a pretty interesting season.
