Roman De Angelis looks to continue 2019 Porsche GT3 Cup Success in Toronto

As the Porsche GT3 Cup Canada season ramps up, drivers and teams head to another big event, the Honda Indy in Toronto.

Picking up five straight wins, the Mark Motors driver will be looking to extend his championship lead. Finishing fifth in last years race, De Angelis will want to add a Toronto trophy to his growing cabinet.

The pressure of racing alongside series like Indycar shouldn’t be an issue. During the Formula 1 weekend in Montreal De Angelis was able to pick up his second and third wins of the season, making way for the rest of his dominating drives.

De Angelis currently holds a 27 point lead over rival, Parker Thompson. Practice one and two will begin on Friday, followed by qualifying and race one on Saturday.
