Roman De Angelis takes pole position for the Porsche GT3 Cup at Road America

This guy is the real deal. After winning the last seven races in the Porsche Cup Canada, Roman De Angelis has continued to shine after picking up pole position in the combined event with Porsche Cup USA drivers.

Road America is a favourite track for many drivers, and it seems Roman is no different. Qualifying with a 2:10.373 put him on top followed by Ethan Simioni of Policaro Motorsport, and Maxwell Root of Wright Motorsports.

Race day is shaping up to be pretty spectacular, and the action doesn’t end with the Porsche GT3 Cup. The IMSA Weathertech Championship is headlining the weekend, so it will be a packed house at Road America.
