Skip Barber Racing School is now offering Formula cars
Canadian Tire Motorsport Park gets a pretty cool addition.
For decades the Skip Barber Racing School has been teaching valuable lessons to young drivers looking to move up the ranks. With prominent alumni such as Juan Pablo Montoya, Josef Newgarden, Danica Patrick, Marco Andretti, and Ryan Hunter-Reay, the school has a reputation.
Recently, the school has just announced the return of Formula cars as part of their offering. A 2.3 litre Mazda MZR engine powers the Van Diemen Formula E car and produces 170 hp. The open-wheel car can shoot from 0–60mph in just 4 seconds.
This excellent experience is available at the one and only, Canadian Tire Motorsport Park. Using the 2.2km development track, drivers will be able to inch towards the feeling of being a professional racecar driver.
