United Sates Grand Prix: Race Preview
Formula 1 heads to Texas
After a weekend off, Formula 1 is back. A great race in Japan was an amazing precursor for this weekend. Lewis Hamilton took home the win so now he has a chance to clinch the drivers title. This is a pivotal race for Ferrari and Sebastian Vettel. If Lewis gets 18 more points than Sebastian he can clinch the title. Ferrari must really bring on the pressure.
This circuit is a combination of a few amazing tracks. High speed sections that can resemble Silverstone provide drivers some serious fun. Temperatures will be warm but their is a chance of rain throughout the weekend. This will make those high speed corners much more treacherous for drivers.
The top three teams will once again remain the same. Mercedes, Ferrari, and Red Bull can all battle for the top spot. Especially in the wet, it can be anyone's game. A notable mention should go to Carlos Sainz Jr. It will be his first race with Renault after several years at Toro Rosso. You should keep an eye on him during the race.
Brendon Hartley will also have his shot to shine. This track has some good pace so its a good chance to prove himself at Toro Rosso. The 2017 cars are known to be difficult to handle so it should be interesting. Daniil Kvyat will be returning to the grid. This meme legend will once again reign supreme on social media.
Overall, this weekend should be a wild one. A title fight to the bitter end would always be preferred, so lets hope for a good fight from Sebastian. Action begins on Friday with free practice. It might get a little wet so if you’re heading to the race, come prepared.
