31 Positive Ideas for December: #13. Write a Goodbye 2024 Haiku!
DIY Holiday Crafts: With Little Rosie’s Christmas Activity Corner.
The idea for this series of posts came about a few years ago. It is part of my book launch, for Rosie’s Christmas Wish, a delightful story about a little girl named Rosie who loves Christmas.
I crafted this blog series, Little Rosie’s Christmas Activity Corner, to share the joy of the holiday season. I gift this series to children and those who embrace the spirit of the holidays. May this updated version bring joy and warmth to your hearts.
Holiday activity: Write a Goodbye 2024 Haiku!
Little Rosie, like most children her age, enjoys poetry. It is a trait she shared with the children that were in my kindergarten classroom. As part of my class curriculum, I introduced my students to different poetry, like haiku. Haiku is a lovely form of Japanese poetry. Although the form is short, it usually holds a deep and meaningful message about a special moment.
This is a simple hands-on activity that incorporates creating a haiku and artwork.
