A Walk Through Chinatown’s Colors, Stories, and Street Art
Singapore is a blend of tradition and modern art.
During the Chinese New Year Festival, I visited Chinatown in Singapore. The streets were alive with people, colors, and culture. As I walked through the busy alleys, I was fascinated by the beautiful street art that told stories of the past and present.
One of the first murals that caught my eye was a large painting of a Chinese woman dressed in traditional attire, holding a fan. Her sharp eyes and detailed costume made her look like a queen from ancient China. The bright colors and intricate designs of her clothes showed the richness of Chinese history.
Moving further, I saw a creative mural on the side of a building. It was an illusion of an old man pouring tea from a giant teapot on a balcony, and the tea seemed to flow directly into cups on the wall below. It felt so real as if I could reach out and taste the warm tea.
