A country that has been enslaved for a thousand years long yearns for freedom.

Unbridled liberty slams into societal norms. Freedom without boundaries frequently goes berserk by invading others’ territory.

Someone stops suddenly on the midway to answer a phone call, causing rushing traffic to come to an abrupt halt. Freedom is not personal, but rather general.

When your freedom interferes with the freedom of another, it offends the other person and causes a conflict. As a result, people’s competing interests cause them to clash with one another. Thus, freedom in isolation is not the same as freedom among people.

When there are competing interests, the principle of give and take works well.

When you help someone, you send a message to the rest of society. Someone else will help you one day, but it will not be the same person you helped.

Our public actions, whether good or bad, are contagious. People will respect your freedom if you respect theirs.

You expect others to sympathize with your hardships, but you never do.

You anticipate that readers will applaud and comment on your stories.

Consider this: how many stories have you clapped and commented on today?

This is a reciprocal relationship.

There is no shortage of talent. We must recognize the talent.

I frequently read excellent stories but do not applaud or appreciate them.

Why should I believe that it does not apply to others?
