MORNING DOWNUNDER
What a Week!
And not in a good way
If it wasn’t enough that unbelievably, Trump was voted President by the American people, my week has been one nightmare after another. To top off my nightmarish existence, this morning I reversed the Haval into Keeley’s neighbour’s car. I didn’t even hear it. My car is plastic and didn’t suffer much damage but the white BMW I hit suffered a dent in the driver’s door. I go so close to hitting it every night when I’m leaving Keeley’s. It was an accident waiting to happen.
When I arrived at the shopping centre, I drove straight over a traffic island. I don’t know what’s wrong with my brain.
Later this afternoon, I brought Caelin’s swim vest to him so he could go swimming in their next door neighbour’s pool. When he came out of the pool, he wanted to go in the cubby house. It’s undergoing repairs so the ladders had been removed.
I lifted Caelin up and almost immediately lost my balance and fell backwards. I landed on my back with Caelin hanging on to me like a monkey. Fortunately, nothing but my pride was injured.
I’m not giving up on life but I’m finding writing is not as good a distraction as I had hoped.
Thanking you for your support, my friends.
