Nothing
Stays the same.
The range of change is varied
It happens all the time
Nothing stays the same
Is my song and rhyme.
Nothing stays the same
Time cannot be frozen
Acceptance and the blame
Neither can be chosen.
Wishing those others
Share values and creeds
Usually taught by mothers
Progenies have other needs.
Control and supposition
Trying to orchestrate
Causes opposition
Turns harmony to hate.
Having strong opinions
Can often isolate
The leaders and minions
Are better left to fate.
Constraint and censorship
Ruins freedom of expression
Just as dictatorship
often spells destruction.
Let’s enjoy each day
And all creative assertions
And if it becomes a bother
Respect all other persons.
Nothing stays the same
Go gently with the flow
It would be such a shame
To never ever know.
