TRAVEL | THE DAILY CUPPA GRANDE
Redang Island
Visiting Redang Island, Terengganu, Malaysia, was an unforgettable experience.

My friends and I were driving and racing Audi cars from Singapore, toward Terengganu in Malaysia. It took us two days to get there.
From Terengganu, we secured the cars to a paid parking space and we took a ferry to white sandy beaches and crystal-clear blue waters, called Redang Island.
The trip from Terengganu town by ferry to Redang is about 45 to an hour depending on the weather conditions.
It is also possible to rent a private speed boat to speed up your arrival on the island.
However, during our visit, the monsoon season brought heavy winds. Despite this unexpected twist, I found immense joy in the stormy weather.
The powerful winds and cool air created a unique, exhilarating atmosphere.
Watching the waves crash and feeling the refreshing breeze on my skin while sipping a glass of wine at the resort was both captivating and relaxing.
This experience was especially soothing after working nearly 16 hours a day, seven days a week, running my photography studio

Redang Island, with its raw natural beauty and unpredictable weather, showed me that sometimes, the most memorable travel moments come from embracing the unexpected.
There are many places I love visiting in Malaysia and it is why, I choose to live part of my life here.
If you are an adventurer, you must visit Redang Island and tell me about it.
