Today’s Tip from the Poet’s Path: The memory of my daddy on Father’s Day motivated me to follow my dreams.

With week sixteen turning the corner, I feel renewed as I dedicate my time to the second draft of my poetry book, The Grape Picker’s Daughter: A Book of Poetry.

On Father’s Day, I felt a special connection with my daddy as I celebrated his memory. Even after almost four decades, the void he left still pulls on my heartstrings. But I find solace in my memories of him.

Throughout the years, I have sought to capture his unassuming attitude and simple outlook on life through my stories about him.

This week, I felt a heartfelt force nudging me to return and delve into his echo in my life. Here are a few posts I’ve shared from the archives of my heart.
