Weeks 17: My Poet’s Path BYOB Challenge
Blogging your own book of poetry.
Tip from the Poet’s Path: Take some time to appreciate your growth and community.
As the second quarter of my BYOB Challenge of my book, The Grape Picker’s Daughter: A Book of Poetry, ends, I am surprised by how swiftly time has passed.
Before moving on to my editorial review for this second quarter, I want to thank the community for their ongoing encouragement. I’m especially grateful to Katie Michaelson and her team at The Daily Cuppa and The Daily Cuppa Grande. Their support has been invaluable and has made a world of difference in this BYOB Challenge.
My Second Quarter Review:
To prepare for the next quarter of my writing journey, I must first analyze and assess my data to gauge my second quarter’s progress. By examining the data, I can gauge how well different components performed and identify areas that need to be adjusted. If I skipped this part, I wouldn’t know the benefit or value of my work. It would be like going on a journey with no purpose or endpoint in mind. Without this review, I wouldn’t know if my efforts were any good. Or if I reached my writing goals.
The data I collect helps me stay focused and make data-driven decisions for quarter three.
