4 Ways to Boost Your Well-being
It’s impossible to escape life’s ups and downs, but how we respond is within our control.
Start here:
- Connect with your values- They are your inner compass. They give your decisions greater meaning and direction.
- Awaken and practice self-compassion- See yourself in the light of having a common human experience. Rather than labeling yourself as “good” or “bad,” learn to accept yourself with an open heart.
- Experience things that bring you joy- Go outside, read a book, cook/bake, paint, watch a movie, play a game…joy is different for everyone, and that is ok. Just experience it.
- Put things into perspective with Gratitude- Whether your day is going well or poorly, it can be helpful to remember that you are thankful for it. Be thankful for the big things and the little things.
