A Fence Can Welcome

As well as keep out

There’s an odd habit on the island. Everyone fences their property. And I mean everyone. People living in giant mansions, people living in one-room shacks, and everyone in between. They all have some variety of fencing.

When we first looked at property listings, we were stunned by mention of fence heights and electric gates. Was crime so rampant that everyone had to hide…

Wow! Did you notice that? It was your day flying by. This publication is your place to enjoy stories of 150 words or fewer about plants and people, wild animals and pets, gardens and food, how-to and how-not-to — written to inform and delight. Did I mention humor?
