In my wardrobe this morning, this lovely pair of pants materialised. They were brand spanking new. They had the tags still attached. I’ve never seen them before. I certainly would never have bought them—not for $159. They fitted me beautifully. They were comfortable and had a lovely, quality feel to them. Made in Türkiye. Not your ordinary K-mart originals, that’s for sure.

I don’t know where they came from, but never mind, they made me very happy before I walked out the door.

It doesn’t take much to turn an ordinary day into something special. Grateful to the Universe? Gifting elves? Gracious ghosts?
