A Member Lounge and a Sky Full of Galaxies
The American Museum of Natural History, or AMNH, is not to be missed when you visit the Big Apple. Don’t even think about it.
The other day, I noticed a flash promotion going on. “Go for the Family Adventure tier, and we’ll throw in the Lounge” they said. Instead of splurging on a new dress, I did just that.
Last week, I decided to visit the lounge. It’s small, but I was the only one there, apart from one staff member. It was quiet, and I enjoyed a complimentary coffee (from a machine, but hey, it’s a Keurig!). White noise was provided by visitors a short distance away.
I hit the planetarium and realized how incredibly small we actually are, in the grand scheme of things. Tom Hanks’ dulcet tones made me want to nap. Boom! It was over in 19 minutes. Why do these planetarium movies end so soon?
