A neighbour peered through my bay window at the Christmas display in my front room.

She asked what else I had, and I told her I’d decorated all the ground floor.

“But you’re not having people in your house because of Covid, are you?”

“No. Only my person. Other than that, there’ll be no gatherings in my house this year.”

“So, what are all the decorations for?” She couldn’t understand it. She thinks I’m weird…
